Childbirth Services

A FREE consultation meeting

One Prenatal visit: During this visit we will discuss your wishes for your birth and formulate a birth plan. We will also discuss comfort measures we will be using during your labor.

Phone Support: from the time your hire me until 2 weeks after you deliver I offer unlimited phone or email contact to answer any questions or discuss any concerns you might have.

Continuous Labor Support: I will join you at your home when you are in active labor and will remain with you throughout your entire labor, until the baby is born, including 1 hour postpartum. During your labor I will be providing you with emotional, physical, and informational support regarding your labor. I will also guide you through your labor using helpful positions and comfort measures. I will be reminding you of fluids and small portions of energy goods. Not to mention, I will be helping you to relax and rest when you wish.

Guaranteed Back Up: I provide a guaranteed back up, should I become ill or should a conflict present itself. My back up is a certified birth doula and she shares the same philosophies and perspectives on birth. You will meet my back up doula at your prenatal visit.

Continuous Support for the Birth Partner: I will not replace your loved one, partner, or husband during the birth of your child, but rather support and nurture all that they are comfortable contributing to your birth.

One Postpartum Visit: I will check in with you via telephone within the first week after you deliver to see how life with baby is developing and to make a date to for the postpartum visit. Your postpartum visit will be tailored to your needs. Whether that's help with breastfeeding or just someone to talk with about baby. This visit lasts about an 1-2 hours.

Informational Support: I will offer you unlimited information and resources on topics concerning your pregnancy and birth. I can also suggest to you reputable childbirth seminars that fit your needs best.
